Okay, even if the man is found innocent, does anyone want to be near this guy when those around him end up stuffed in hockey bags?

VANCOUVER – The trial of Charles Kembo, the Vancouver man accused of four counts of first-degree murder, has been adjourned until Oct. 13.

The trial was originally scheduled to begin today but lawyers still have pre-trial issues to sort out before the jury begins hearing the Crown’s outline of evidence, now set for Oct. 13.

Kembo, 40, is accused of killing his wife, stepdaughter, a mistress and a business associate. The alleged victims are:

 – Margaret Kembo, 44, his wife, who disappeared sometime around October 2002.
– Arden Bernard Samuel, 38, a former business partner, who was allegedly killed in October 2003.
 – Siu Yin Ma, 55, the alleged mistress, whose body was found stuffed in a hockey bag in a slough near the Massey tunnel in November 2004.
– Rita Yeung, 21, stepdaughter, whose body was dumped in the Fraser River days before Kembo’s arrest in July 2005.
