UCLA exposes Racism at Planned Parenthood

According to blackgencide.org 1452 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

Planned  Parenthood provides a large percentage of these abortions.  Albert Milliron of Politisite.com said in 2007, “if Planned Parenthood were not strategically placed in African-American communities, Hispanics would not be the second largest minority group in America.  African-American’s Political power has been diminished largely by organizations like Planned Parenthood”

Yes he said it!  I was there.

The Advocate, a student magazine at UCLA, has released phone recordings of Planned Parenthood fundraising staffers approving of a donor who claimed he wanted his money to help “lower the number of black people.”

The magazine conducted a seven-state investigation to discover how Planned Parenthood fundraising centers would respond to a caller who expressed explicitly racist motives.

An actor posing as a racist donor called Planned Parenthood development centers asking that his donations be used to abort African-American babies to “lower the number of black people.”  Each branch agreed to process the racially earmarked donation.  None expressed concern about the racist motives for the donation, and some staffers encouraged the racist reasoning.

In a phone conversation with an Idaho Planned Parenthood office, the actor stated, “the less black kids out there, the better.”  Director of Development Autumn Kersey called his position “understandable” and indicated she was excited to process his donation since she had never had a request “like this” before.  An Ohio representative, Lisa Hutton, after hearing the donor’s racist explanation said that Planned Parenthood “will accept the money for whatever reason.”

The Editor-in-chief of The Advocate, UCLA sophomore Lila Rose, is leading a student campaign petitioning UCLA to end its ties with Planned Parenthood.  Her campaign has won the support of Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Karen Hatter the producer, host and social commentator of Inside the Eye of the Storm, aired daily on Internet radio on AKERU! and a NowPublic Contributer commented,

the founder of the organization that came to be known as Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, had instituted a program called the Negro Project in the 1930s. .The earliest populations targeted by the parent organization of Planned Parenthood were poor, European immigrants. At the time, it was a clearly designed class issue, with those better educated and more affluent seeking to control the population of those characterized as the poor and uneducated.

Margaret Sanger once boasted that she presented to the Ku Klux Klan, but had to speak in elementary terms because it was like talking to children.  Wikipedia, the online Encyclopedia Relates that Margaret Sanger’s Racist views have not survived her.

Margaret Higgins Sanger (September 14, 1879September 6, 1966) was an American birth control activist, an advocate of negative eugenics, and the founder of the American Birth Control League (which eventually became Planned Parenthood). Initially met with fierce opposition to her ideas, Sanger gradually won some support, both in the public as well as the courts, for a woman’s choice to decide how and when, if ever, she will bear children. In her drive to open the way to universal access to birth control, Sanger was a progressive force ahead of her time. However, her racist ideology and advocacy for eugenics are positions which have not survived her.

The UCLA group, the Advocate,  has cast doubt to that conclusion.

“Several years ago, when 17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California, some 12-15,000 were observed to be black.”–Erma Clardy Craven (deceased) Social Worker and Civil Rights Leader

The Advocate released its Winter quarter issue with the feature story on Planned Parenthood’s racist ties, past and present.

Video along with audio and transcripts from Live Action’s investigation into Planned Parenthood’s racism are now available. Students at UCLA are also beginning to campaign and petition to ban Planned Parenthood from campus. If you would like to help, please e-mail [email protected]. Check the site for updates!

Planned Parenthood Apologizes

Planned Parenthood of Idaho officials apologized Wednesday for what they called an employee’s “serious mistake” in encouraging a donation aimed at aborting black babies.

They also criticized The Advocate, a right-to-life student magazine at the University of California-Los Angeles, for trying to discredit Planned Parenthood employees in seven states in a series of tape-recorded phone calls last summer.

The call to Idaho came in July to Autumn Kersey, vice president of development and marketing for Planned Parenthood of Idaho.

On the recording provided by The Advocate, an actor portraying a donor said he wanted his money used to eliminate black unborn children because “the less black kids out there the better.”

Kersey laughed nervously and said: “Understandable, understandable. … Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I’ve had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I’m excited and want to make sure I don’t leave anything out.”

Planned Parenthood encourages Sexual Expression as a Cure all from Depression to Spirtuality.  Touts how healthy it is to be sexually active as a teen(I encourage you to read the wider article)

However, pioneering researchers have demonstrated many of the various health benefits of sexual expression, including its positive physical, intellectual, emotional, and social dimensions (Ogden, 2001). Although this body of research is limited and often only suggestive when compared with the vast sexological literature on dysfunction, disease, and unwanted pregnancy, we are accumulating data to begin to answer many questions about the potential benefits of sexual expression, including

  • What are the ways in which sexual expression benefits us physically?
  • How do various forms of sexual expression benefit us emotionally?
  • Are there connections between sexual activity and spirituality?
  • Are there positive ways that early sex play affects personal growth?
  • How does sexual expression positively affect the lives of the disabled?
  • How does sexual expression positively affect the lives of older women and men?
  • Do non-procreative sexual activities have benefits for society?
  • Is recreational sex good for people?
  • Can having sex be therapeutic?
  • Are there psychosocial benefits in sexual abstinence until marriage?
  • Are there differences in the health of the sexually active and the sexually abstinent?…

In 1999 study of 112 U.S. college students examined immunoglobin A (lgA) levels, which are essential to the immune system’s response to viral infection.  The study found that those students who had sexual intercourse once or twice a week had lgA levels 30 percent higher than those who were abstinent.  Interestingly, students who had sex more often than once or twice a week had lgA levels similar  to those of abstinent students (Charnetski & Brennan, 2001)…

Youthfulness — A study conducted over 10 years and involving more than 3,500 European and American women and men examined various factors associated with youthful appearance. A panel of judges viewed the participants through a one-way mirror and then guessed the age of each subject. Those women and men whose age was regularly underestimated by seven to 12 years were labeled “superyoung.” Among these “superyoung” people, one of the strongest correlates of youthful appearance was an active sex life. On average, “superyoung” participants reported engaging in sexual intercourse three times a week in comparison with the control group’s average of twice a week. The “superyoung” were also found to be comfortable and confident regarding their sexual identity (Weeks & James, 1998).

Bottom line is Planned Parenthood want’s you to play with fire, so when you get burned, they will fix it up for you.  Almost like Virginia slims ads that touted, “you’ve come a long way baby”.  So now your should smoke.
