Armed Man Arrested Near Capitol

WASHINGTON — U.S. Capitol Police have arrested a man carrying a rifle outside the Capitol building.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider tells WTOP Radio one man is in custody and no one was injured.
An officer first spotted the man near Union Station — about two blocks from the Capitol. A car belonging to the suspect is being searched.
