Strip Shows Are Considered Theater in the Netherlands
Judges in the Dutch Supreme Court has made up their minds concerning a case of whether or not strip shows were considered theater or a means of perversion. If the judges were to decide it was simply a place for men to stare at naked women then the taxes would be astronomical. The owner of the club has already paid thousands of dollars in to the system with his taxes
. The owner of the establishment claimed what he was peddling was theater.
