Winter Storm Warning For Much Of The State!
A fast moving winter storm moving across the northern Gulf will move eastward bringing cold rain and snow this afternoon. We expect it to change over to all snow by evening continuing through midnight. Latest computer models indicate 1-3″ of snow for most of the Midlands with up to 4″ in the southern Midlands. Temperatures will climb to near 40, but as precipitation arrives this afternoon, temperatures will drop into the 30s.
