Barbara Walters has admitted to having an affair with married U.S Senator Edward Brooke in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, that is scheduled to air next Tuesday.
The View creator and veteran newswoman had a passionate affair with Massachusetts Republican, who was the first African-American to be elected by a popular vote to the Senate, for several years in the 1970s.
Barbara will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote her upcoming autobiography, Audition: A Memoir, which is set to hit bookstore shelves May 6th.
