Here I am enjoying the warm beach this weekend gathering information on another story and I read this. You don’t have to be a member of PETA or the SPCA to allow this to get your blood to boil.
What is going on when we are willing to kill such an animal.
“when you have done it to the least of these, you have done it to me” Jusus said it best.
MYRTLE BEACH — A family pet is dead, and its owner is looking for answers.
A Myrtle Beach woman said her cat, Graybe, disappeared Tuesday night. She found her cat’s body the next morning in the middle of the road.
Pet owner, Gale Rosenberg, believes Graybe’s death was not an accident. When she found her pet, she realized it had been decapitated.
The cat’s body was found on Lake Arrowhead Road in Myrtle Beach.
There was no blood near the body, which lead Rosenberg to believe the cat was killed somewhere else and then placed in the road to make it appear that Graybe was hit by a car.
Rosenberg said Animal Control workers performed an examination and came to the same conclusion.
“Animal control came over. They examined the body and they concurred with what we already believe, that someone had just cut the cat’s head off with a sharp object,” said Rosenberg.
Rosenberg hung flyers, hoping someone will shed some light on what exactly happened to Graybe.
“She was a delicate little 5 pound cat not even a year old. How anyone could do this is beyond me,” said Rosenberg.
Graybe has been buried, but Rosenberg said she needs some answers to this mystery so that Graybe can rest in peace.
If you have any information, please contact Rosenberg at (843) 491-6502 or email at [email protected].
