Trudge to work. Nod at the Boss. Stare at a screen.

Come home. Eat. TV. Sleep.

Repeat.

That’s the real Labour Day for most Canadians.

But once upon a time, work wasn’t always as typically boring as it is today.

In fact, back in the day, many Canadians earned a living in some pretty novel ways.
