I put it this way, if a young black or arab man is committing a crime, then throw the book at em, BIG TIME. Being poor or ignorant, or just a Cultural misunderstanding as an immigrant from another country is no excuse to guns, gangs, drugs, rape or murder.

Cultural misunderstandings by these same offenders, often immediately get a bullet between the eyes or a machete up the head after they commit a crime in their home country, so it is not like they just discovered Crime, and feel it is okay to do it in this country. People no matter what culture you are from need to stop crapping on this country, imposing your self righteous views about whats wrong with this country, the same goes with anyone who comes here to rob and pillage, cause it was acceptable in your feudal or tribal society whence you came from. We have enough criminals already of our own.

I am sure your parents did not want this when they came here to start a new life, and I am sure they will be some pissed that you embarrass the hell out of them with your criminal lifestyle. Take a cue from them, when they tell you, their homeland was brutal or unjust, and get your friggin act together.

Your parents certainly do use excuses, but apparently you and your social worker count on these excuses to excuse your behaviour.

Many soft hearted proponents,who enjoy giving up excuses for their behaviour of Oh Poor Immigrants, enjoy using every stereotype in the book in explaining why criminals do this, just doesn’t wash with me!

Finally if you commit the crimes, and you were born here, it is a long, long jail sentence for ya, if you are a New Canadian, its Deport your sorry Friggin Ass whence you Came!. No lengthy trials, no appeals, just a quick trip to the airport and a parachute over your home country, and see ya later, hope that parachute works out for ya!

Harsh? No harsher than the acts these criminals put upon law abiding citizens and taxpayers, rape, murder, drugs, extortion, gangs etc. But try telling that to Nancy Boy and his Homies of Cultural Misunderstandings!

Born into controversy, the Ottawa police guns and gangs unit continues to be a lightning rod for criticism. Two years into its existence, critics question everything from the way members of the unit conduct investigations, to the methodology they use to identify gang members.

Some even question whether the city has a gang problem at all. Ottawa defence lawyer Dominic Lamb has dealt with five or six guns and gangs warrants since the unit came into existence.

And not a single one has been successful at taking a gun off Ottawa streets.
