There’s a search underway in Columbia, South Carolina for two scam artists who stole $86,000 from a senior citizen.
Police say the woman in the yellow sweater stole the victim’s identity, opened a bank account in her name, and deposited $70,000 of the victim’s money there.
She then wrote her accomplice a check for the rest of the money and the second suspect cashed that check with a fake ID.
The attached picture and video are the only leads.
If you know the identity of the suspect or have any information on the incident, contact your local police.
