Barack Obama’s choice for commerce secretary has withdrawn his nomination because of policy differences with the US President.
Republican Senator Judd Gregg says he has decided he cannot serve as commerce secretary because of what he calls “irresolvable conflicts” with the President over the economic stimulus package and other issues.
