Sens. Schumer and Graham team up on National ID Card and Immigration Reform
Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) have teamed up to work on comprehensive immigration reform that included developing a new Social Security Card that includes bio-metric information like finger prints for every U.S. Citizen. Some critics are calling the New ID a national Identification care that tends to be unpopular amount moderates and conservatives in America. The rational for the new card is that if a tamper proof bio-metric card was issued to US Citizens and required for employment, it would make it more difficult for illegals to get a job in the United States. The argument is that if illegals can not get work. they would be less likely to make the track to the United States.
