Tamil protesters formed a human chain in downtown Toronto today to protest a Sri Lankan military push against Tamil rebels.
As rush hour hit this afternoon, hundreds of people massed in front of Union Station, shutting down Front Street, as Toronto police kept close watch.
“We don’t care about how cold it is,” one man said. “When you think about what is happening back home it doesn’t matter. That’s why we came out. Even the little children came out.”
