Calling all NowPublic Contributers: Find a Similar Photo With President Clinton and the First Lady
How do you get a photo opportunity with the President and First Lady?
I know the answer to this question! During my political career as a Public Relations Chairman of a particular party in Georgia. I had my share of photo opportunities and invites to Gubernatorial Balls. Every six months or so, President George W. Bush and the First Lady would come to a secluded area in Georgia called Reynolds Plantation. Reynolds Plantation is between Augusta and Atlanta off of Interstate 20. During these times the wealthier folks (I was never invited nor could I afford to), would contribute 10,000 dollars to have dinner with the President. Following the dinner, President Bush and the First Lady would go to a set and have a professional photographer take photos of each of the attendees. This was the perk for being a large donor.
The candidates for president are doing this right now in order to raise funds for campaigns. Since you are limited in giving $2300 dollars per cycle, candidates have learned over the years to get around that by having a dinner that costs $75, $100, $1000, $10,000, etc.
Tickets to the dinner, at the Sheraton Nashua Hotel, cost $100. Those willing to shell out $500 can also attend a reception and photo-op with Clinton. For more information about the event, call 225-6899 or go to nhdp.org/100club.

Calling all NowPublic Contributers. Lets Crowd Power this article. Find another photo of the Clinton’s with this same background, identify where it was taken, and post it here.
I would like to put this story to rest. The News services are using this to discredit The statement Candidate Clinton made during the Myrtle Beach Debate on January 21, 2008. In the South Carolina Democratic Party Presidential Debate on January 21, 2008 Senator Clinton stated that Senator Obama represented the Slumlord Rezko. Senator Obama related that he never represented Rezko directly, rather he had done work indirectly for Rezko’s firm for five hours. Senator Obama is not the only politician Rezko has had relations with as seen in the Bottom highlighted article, “Rezko has raised funds for many polititions”.
Investigate Reporting: I hope you have that inner urge to get at the truth. Are you one who has the CSI story figured out in the first few minutes of the show? How about at the movies, You want to go home because you figured out the plot in the first two minutes? Lets use that skill on this photo. Look at the background. It is a blue back drop. The flag is on the left. President Clinton is on the Left and the First Lady is on the Right. What else do you see? Allow the information to unfold in the theater of your mind naturally. Search for a photo that is similar. Find the who, what, and where. No one has identified this photo yet. Is it a fake? Do you know something about photography? Shadows? Pixels? Cut and Past? Do you know about textiles? The backdrop, who makes it? The flooring, what type? Are you a military buff? What type of flag is this? Would it be in a government office? The White house? A school? What hair style is the first lady wearing? What time frame was that style popular. Can you find photos of the First lady with that style? How about the clothing? Again who made it, when was it in style.
I think that is enough to get you started. You may have already thought of these things. You may know much more than I on investigative reporting. I hope we at NowPublic figure this mystery out before anyone else. This is where Crowd Power can beat any news organization. Power in numbers and power in our skills.
A note to readers: I am not doing this to hurt or help any candidate. I just want to know the Truth. I CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH! Can you?
Rezko has raised funds for many politicians, both Democrats and Republicans. These include Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich,[3] Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, U.S. Senator and Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, Comptroller Dan Hynes, former Cook County Board President John Stroger, and Cook County Board President Todd Stroger.[citation needed] Rezko has also raised money for former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar and co-chaired a megamillion-dollar fund-raiser for President George W. Bush in 2003.[4]
The indictment of Rezko on federal charges has drawn attention to his relationship with Illinois Senator Barack Obama, though Obama is accused of no wrongdoing.[5][6] In November, 2006, Barack Obama drew media scrutiny because he had purchased his house in 2005, on the same day that Antoin Rezko purchased an adjoining empty lot. Obama subsequently bought from Rezko an adjoining strip of land from the empty lot. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Obama’s purchase of the land from Rezko may have created an increased value to Obama’s property beyond the actual purchase price by making the adjacent Rezko property difficult to develop.[7] However, Obama acknowledges that the exchange may have created the appearance of impropriety, and stated “I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it.”[8]
In June, 2007 the Chicago Sun-Times published a story about letters Obama had written in 1997 to city and state officials in support of a low-income senior citizen development project headed by Rezko and partner Allison Davis. The project received more than $14 million in taxpayer funds, including $885,000 in development fees for Rezko and Davis. Of Obama’s letters in support of the Cottage View Terrace apartments development, Obama spokesman Bill Burton said “This wasn’t done as a favor for anyone, it was done in the interests of the people in the community who have benefited from the project. I don’t know that anyone specifically asked him to write this letter nine years ago. There was a consensus in the community about the positive impact the project would make and Obama supported it because it was going to help people in his district.” Rezko’s attorney responded that “Mr. Rezko never spoke with, nor sought a letter from, Senator Obama in connection with that project.[9] Obama had told the Sun-Times that Rezko raised “between $50,000 and $60,000” during Obama’s political career. However, Obama has since donated all campaign contributions from Rezko to charity.[5]

Rezko co-defendant donated to Clinton supporter Rendell
Tony Rezko is a well-known name in Chicago politics and local news coverage of alleged crimes. But he popped up prominently into the national political discussion only this week when during a heated exchange in a South Carolina Democratic debate Hillary Clinton accused Barack Obama of having been lawyer for the “slum landlord” Rezko.
Rezko was indeed close to Obama, nurturing him early in his career, as The Times noted in a front-page article on Wednesday, and Obama did a little legal work on a Rezko-related housing deal when he was a young lawyer in Chicago.
Then, this morning during an interview of Clinton on NBC’s “Today Show,”….
Matt Lauer produced an undated photo showing Rezko standing between a smiling Hillary and Bill Clinton with an American flag in the background.

Obama’s Rezko ties deeper than land deal
December 23, 2006BY FRANK MAIN Staff ReporterIn addition to a land deal, Sen. Barack Obama’s ties to indicted dealmaker Antoin “Tony” Rezko include an internship the senator provided the son of a contributor at the request of Rezko, an Obama spokesman confirmed today.
John Aramanda served as an intern for Obama for about a month in 2005, said Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs. His father is Joseph Aramanda, a Rezko business associate who was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal corruption case against Rezko. Aramanda has contributed $11,500 to Obama since 2000, Gibbs said.
“Mr. Rezko did provide a recommendation for John Aramanda,” Gibbs said. “I think that it’s fairly obvious that a few-week internship is not of anything of benefit to Mr. Rezko or any of his businesses.”
The revelation of the internship comes after Obama acknowledged a mistake in buying property from Rezko in January 2006 — a deal that enlarged the senator’s yard in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side. The transaction occurred at a time when it was widely known Rezko was under investigation by the U.S. attorney’s office.
“It was a mistake to have been engaged with him at all in this or any other personal business dealing that would allow him, or anyone else, to believe that he had done me a favor,” Obama — a likely presidential candidate — told the Sun-Times in November.
Rezko was indicted in October for allegedly trying to collect nearly $6 million in kickbacks from government deals and trying to shake down a Hollywood producer for $1.5 million in campaign contributions to Gov. Blagojevich.
Obama and Rezko have been friends since 1990, and the Wilmette businessman has raised as much as $60,000 in campaign contributions for him.
After Rezko’s indictment, Obama donated $11,500 to charity — the amount Rezko contributed to the senator’s federal campaign fund.
Gibbs said he did not know whether Obama was considering returning any contributions from Aramanda given his alleged role in the federal corruption cases against Rezko and former Teachers Retirement System board member Stuart Levine.
Aramanda is identified as “Individual D” in Rezko’s indictment. And when Levine pleaded guilty in October, Aramanda again was listed as “Individual D.”
Aramanda was identified by the Sun-Times as “Individual D,” who allegedly received a $250,000 kickback tied to a scheme to steer lucrative state pension deals to firms and consultants that donated to Blagojevich. Aramanda is not specifically named or charged with criminal wrongdoing in the court papers. He could not be reached for comment Saturday.
Aramanda has contributed $11,500 to Obama’s campaigns since 2000, Gibbs said. He gave $1,000 toward Obama’s run for Congress against Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Chicago) in 2000; $500 to Obama’s Senate campaign in 2003 and $10,000 to his Senate campaign in 2004, Gibbs said.
Gibbs said John Aramanda served in Obama’s Capitol Hill office from July 20 to Aug. 26, 2005, during which he received an $804 cost-of-living stipend. Aramanda was one of nearly 100 interns who worked for Obama in 2005, Gibbs said.
